Associate Vice President for Campus Health
Gannett Health Services offers primary care medical services, counseling and psychological services, physical therapy and health education for all full-time registered Cornell students, their spouses and partners. It is also the first-aid station for the entire campus, providing medical care for accidental injuries and illnesses. Gannett also provides specialized services such as:
  • travel and allergy shots
  • physical therapy
  • massage therapy
  • contraception and gynecology
  • HIV/AIDS testing and counseling
Students use Gannett as they would a family physician or counselor.

Cornell employees can use Gannett services to supplement those offered by primary-care providers. The Gannett web site provides information on:
  • health services available on campus and in the community
  • general health issues
  • individual and public health concerns

C.R.E.W. Director
C.R.E.W. (Counseling, Recovery, Empowerment, and Wellness Services) provides mental health services through therapy, support groups and one-on-one consultation. Groups for adults take a strengths-based approach using systems such as Wellness Recovery Action Plan (W.R.A.P.) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (D.B.T.). The new after-school program for children and adolescents will focus on skill building and emotional support.

The Forensics program conducts mental health evaluations for the Tompkins County court system. This program also provides counseling and risk assessment to inmates of the Tompkins County Jail. The Sexual Offender Treatment Program, Commitment to Change, Thinking for a Change, Doors (Domestic Offender Re-education) and services to the Day Reporting Center are also provided.
