The Education Program provides suicide awareness and intervention training, through a variety of programs on recognizing and helping people at risk for suicide.
Training and education is provided to schools, businesses, community groups, organizations and the general public.
The SPCS Role Players, with individuals from ages 14 to 90, perform lively role plays to highlight issues and engage audiences. This interactive theater help audiences talk about difficult issues impacting their lives.
A new training program has been implemented that is called Volunteer Educators. This program is available for all those that wish to volunteer for SPCS and learn more about the agency, the work, and suicide prevention.
